My mission is to honor the vast, dynamic spectrum of Black women through rich, multidimensional narratives that span generations. By blending fierce power with raw vulnerability, my work celebrates the deeply human experiences of Black people at every age and stage of life.

About Me.
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, I have spent my life captivated by the power of the written word.
For me, writing is a radical act of community service and healing. Every story I craft is born from deeply personal experience, seasoned by a bold imagination, and driven by a fierce mission to honor Black people from youth to elderhood. I fearlessly tackle sensitive, provocative subject matter, dragging uncomfortable truths into the light to spark connection, understanding, and transformation. My work is an unfiltered, dynamic celebration of the deeply human experiences that define us all as human beings.
My plays have been produced in the United States and internationally. Works include THE BLACK PEARL (Coastal Carolina Theatre Dept); FREEDOM SUMMER (NCBlackRep); DANCING ON EGGSHELLS (Billie Holiday Theatre); PEOLA'S PASSING (New Perspectives Theatre Company; Festival de Teatro Alternativo, Bogota, Colombia); GOLD STAR MOTHER (EstroGenius Festival); ASCENSION (National Black Theatre Festival; NYCFringe); THUNDER: A MUSICAL MEMOIR (NYCFringe); WHAT IF...? (Negro Ensemble Company; Bishop Arts Theatre Center); LETTERS FROM LORETTA (Center Theatre Group Commission); IN THIS LIFE (Quick Silver Theater); WHAT IF?
